Dear CTS Customer,

With regards to the official announcement made by the China Customs on September 25, 2014, we would like to bring to your attention the enforcement of the 24-hour Advance Manifest rule for all China import cargoes (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) effective October 15, 2014.

The 24-hour rule began its official trial run in 2009, and the new procedure is now strictly enforced for all China import cargoes.

To comply with the CCAM regulation requirements, CTS requests all export seafreight customers to submit accurate and timely shipping instructions by the documentation cut-off dates advised by the CTS Operations staff.

Effective December 1, 2014, an Advance Manifest Submission Fee (NSR) of USD 35 per B/L will be applicable for every B/L filed.

For amendment to a B/L after submission, an Advance Manifest Amendment Fee (NSC) of USD 80 per amendment per B/L will be applicable.

The December 1, 2014 effective date applies to the following:

cargo receiving date (Wharf/rail cut off) for Trans-Pacific shipments
